Analysis of internal environment in healthcare institutions from the perspective of performance and institutional functions analysis
The healthcare industry is characterized by constant uncertainties and rapid transformations. This reality makes it crucial to manage the internal environment effectively to adapt to shifts in the external landscape. From this standpoint, regularly updating internal environment assessments becomes imperative. The healthcare field is influenced by evolving regulations, economic challenges, and changing societal demands. To conduct internal environment assessments effectively, healthcare organizations must consistently evaluate their internal dynamics while accounting for these external changes. Insights derived from internal environment evaluations allow healthcare organizations to devise strategic responses to challenges and convert them into opportunities. Internal environment assessments enable healthcare institutions not only to review their current strategies but also to shape their future plans. These evaluations extend beyond identifying institutional strengths and weaknesses by ensuring effective utilization and management of organizational resources and capabilities. Moreover, by implementing accurate and comprehensive internal analyses, healthcare organizations can optimize their internal processes and strengthen their competitive position in the sector. This study focuses on examining the functional subsystems and key factors influencing internal environment evaluations. Additionally, it explores the methodologies related to functional subsystem groups foundational to internal environment assessments in healthcare institutions (e.g., performance and institutional function analyses). These approaches are enriched with current examples and discussed comprehensively.
