Vladikavkaz military vocational school (Part 2)

The second part is a continuation of the work published in one of the previous issues on the topic: History of the Vladikavkaz Military Craft School. It continues to examine the history of the school, the opening of a workshop with its subsequent expansion. The workshop expanded by opening new departments in it. The article provides specially developed rules, both for the school as a whole and separately for the workshop, on the basis of which the educational process was carried out. The article also briefly describes the appearance of the uniform manufactured in the school and the methods of its manufacture. In addition, the second part of the scientific work is devoted to examining the staffing schedule of the workshop and the school as a whole, where in the years following the opening of the school, the number of hired craftsmen and teachers increased. Craftsmen could often act as teachers of various types of military craft. Also in the work, i.e. in the second part of the study, are provided reviews of persons who inspected the level of teaching and the quality of manufactured products. This part of the study also considers the financial side of the school’s functioning. In particular, the receipt and expenditure of funds received or released by the Military Headquarters of the Terek Cossack Army to the school. Orders from individuals, which, although rare, were received. Some statistics are also given here reflecting the number of students, masters and teachers in different years and the amount of products per master or per workshop department.
