JAMOVI ANALYSIS: IMPACT OF CAMPUS SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVE AND STUDENT BEHAVIOUR
Sustainability initiatives in higher education institutions play a crucial role in fostering environmentally responsible behavior among students. This study explores the relationship between campus sustainability programs and student engagement in eco-friendly practices. By analyzing various sustainability initiatives—such as waste reduction programs, energy conservation efforts, green infrastructure, and sustainability education—the research assesses their effectiveness in shaping students’ attitudes, awareness, and daily habits. The findings suggest that well-implemented sustainability policies not only enhance environmental literacy but also encourage long-term pro-environmental behavior among students. Furthermore, institutional commitment, peer influence, and the visibility of sustainable practices significantly impact student participation. This research highlights the importance of integrating sustainability into university curricula and campus operations to promote a culture of environmental responsibility
