Artificial Intelligence-Driven Health Monitoring and Early Warning Technology for Concrete Structures
The development of advanced technologies for monitoring and maintaining structural integrity is pivotal for enhancing the resilience, efficiency, and sustainability of critical infrastructure. Concrete structures, ubiquitous in modern construction, face significant challenges such as cracking, time-dependent deformations, and environmental degradation, which compromise their durability and performance. Traditional methods often fall short in addressing these complexities due to their static nature and limited predictive capabilities. To tackle these limitations, this study introduces an innovative framework that integrates artificial intelligence (AI) and adaptive modeling techniques for real-time health monitoring and early-warning systems. By leveraging the Adaptive Concrete Performance Optimization Framework (ACPOF), the proposed approach combines multi-scale material modeling, structural response analysis, and optimization algorithms to predict and mitigate structural vulnerabilities. Key features include real-time load adaptation, stress-based reinforcement design, and the incorporation of high-performance concrete to enhance serviceability and environmental sustainability. Experimental results demonstrate significant improvements in structural performance, crack resistance, and long-term durability, highlighting the potential of AI-driven technologies to revolutionize the management of concrete infrastructure.
