Podpora otroku s (travmatično) izkušnjo spolne zlorabe
Sexual offences are acts of sexual, physical, and psychological violence that can affect individuals of any age, gender, or background. These incidents can occur in homes, local communities, among relatives, and, sadly, also in foster care, educational and recreational institutions. Sexual violence cuts deeply into an individual’s life, and its consequences can significantly shape the quality of the victim’s life well into adulthood. Educators must recognise warning signs and consequences of the abuse early, report suspected cases to end the abuse, and provide professional treatment to those affected. This paper presents key information for accurate identification, intervention, and follow-up regarding the role of educators and other adults in addressing child sexual abuse.
