Adaptive Domain Scheduling-Multiple Model Predictive Control for Wind Turbine Based on Finite Difference Domain-Hybrid Semi Mechanism Modelling
To solve the optimization control problem of wind turbines (WTs) considering power tracking and load suppression under complex and uncertain operating conditions, a finite difference domain-hybrid semi mechanism (FDD-HSM) modeling method is proposed. Based on this model, an adaptive domain scheduling-multiple model predictive control (ADS-MMPC) strategy is designed for free output (FO) and limited output (LO) modes. The accuracy of the FDD-HSM method is validated using a high-performance real-time target machine and comparing it with the full operating characteristics of an actual WT. Effectiveness of the ADS-MMPC algorithm is further verified and compared with the traditional MPC-based algorithm through simulations.
