Intelligent Building Light Environment Optimization Design Combining BIM and Fuzzy Logic

The lighting environment design of many buildings is facing problems such as insufficient lighting and high energy consumption, and there is an urgent need for effective solutions. This article combines Building Information Modeling (BIM) and fuzzy logic algorithms to optimize the lighting environment design inside buildings, in order to improve energy efficiency and comfort. Firstly, this study utilizes BIM technology to construct a 3D model of the building, followed by lighting simulation analysis to obtain lighting distribution data under different design schemes. Firstly, the article uses BIM technology to construct a 3D model of the building, followed by lighting simulation analysis to obtain lighting distribution data under different design schemes. Then, a fuzzy logic controller is introduced, in which various fuzzy rules can optimize lighting intensity and distribution. User feedback ultimately combines natural and artificial lighting. After optimizing the design, the sunshine duration inside the building is 7.9 hours, and energy consumption can be reduced by up to 21%. The research conclusion indicates that in the future optimization design of building energy efficiency, the combination of BIM and fuzzy logic ultimately greatly improves indoor lighting conditions, enhances energy efficiency and user experience, thus providing new ideas for future building design.
