Ensino da etica em instituicoes de Educação Superior colombianas

This article is based on the question: What are the characteristics and trends in the teaching of ethics in university education programs in Colombia? To answer this question, first, a philosophical and formative perspective on the problem of teaching ethics is presented; second, a state of the art on the teaching of ethics in higher education in Colombia is elaborated; 165 ethics courses in active academic programs in Colombian higher education institutions were analyzed and surveys and interviews with professors were applied. Finally, teaching ethics is an opportunity to strengthen human, citizen and professional formation and its teaching presents didactic, methodological and profile challenges for the ethics teacher.
