Vinculación Comunitaria y Fortalecimiento Administrativo: Un Diagnóstico Participativo para MiPymes y Comunidades Vulnerables en Ecuador

Participatory diagnosis has been consolidated as an essential tool to identify needs and strengthen administrative capacities in vulnerable communities and MSMEs. This study, developed within the framework of the project “Building Together: Accounting, financial and tax improvement project for MSMEs and the Ecuadorian community”, was aimed at generating a comprehensive analysis of the demands and barriers present in these communities. Through structured surveys applied to 128 participants in various provinces of Ecuador, data was collected that made it possible to identify priority areas of intervention in administrative, financial and community bonding aspects. The analysis revealed that 88% of those surveyed consider financial support essential to facilitate their participation in projects, while 50.8% highlight the importance of time flexibility. In addition, environmental issues, such as waste management (88%) and water conservation (55.5%), were identified as priorities. This diagnosis also showed a low level of knowledge on sustainability issues (50.8% of respondents consider themselves poorly informed). In conclusion, the results highlight the need to design linkage and training strategies that promote sustainable development and strengthen administrative capacities in communities and MSMEs, contributing to the economic development of the country. This study establishes a solid foundation for future interventions in the area of management and sustainability.
