Jesus’ Fulfillment of the Law Affects Believers Today

After being set free from the life sentence people brought upon themselves, why is it that they still keep returning to their jail cell? The truth is, countless Christians fall victim to the idea that they are not fully saved by grace and require the inclusion of good works to their lives in order to save them. This has even become the cultural norm among Christians circles today, that you must do things for God in order to be loved and accepted in His family. However, in studying why the law was given, what is to motivate a believer's actions, and how people receive salvation, it can truly be understood how one's physical actions are not related to the salvation they receive. Rather, one can find their new identity as God's dearly loved child, which leads to heart transformation and a drawing towards the Lord.
