Current state of practice and reflections on humanistic care in oncology patient nursing

With the transformation of medical model, patients have higher requirements for clinical nursing services. Humanistic care is the core content of modern nursing, which can enhance the nurse-patient relationship and improve the patient treatment compliance and quality of life of tumor patients. This paper introduced the definition and practice theory of humanistic care in nursing, overview the method of nursing humanistic care practice in oncology patients, which mainly covers creating a harmonious environment, creating a caring atmosphere, meeting patients' needs, emphasizing patients' comfort, implementing personalized care and providing multidisciplinary cooperation services. It also analyzed the challenges facing the development of humanistic care in oncology nursing in China, aiming to provide a reference for systematically advancing the cause of humanistic care for oncology patients.
