THE TRENDS OF DEVELOPMENT OF MODERN NURSING HOUSES

The object of the study is modern nursing homes. It is important to note that the development of modern nursing homes has become very relevant due to the constant acceleration of the aging society and changing social and economic conditions. Understanding the development trends of modern nursing homes plays an important role in determining the typological study of nursing home architecture. In this regard, it is necessary to identify the development trends of modern nursing homes. The purpose of the study is to identify trends in the architectural organization of modern nursing homes. To achieve this goal, the analysis of domestic and foreign experience in the design and construction of modern nursing homes was carried out. Research methods include the study of scientific, literary and journalistic sources and statistical data (Internet sources including) revealing the development of architecture of nursing homes; study of design and graphic and photographic materials characterizing domestic and foreign practice of design and construction of nursing homes. The study results revealed trends in the development of urban planning, functional-planning, volumetric and spatial solutions of nursing homes. The most important and widespread trends include the development of elderly care services, improvement of barrier-free systems, multifunctionality, formation of public spaces for leisure activities of the elderly, cooperation of nursing homes with medical centers.
