A new species of the genus Pseudopoophagus Voss, 1935 (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) from Nepal

A new species, Pseudopoophagus nepalensis sp. n., of the tribe Eugnomini (Curculioninae) is described and illustrated from the Koshi Province of Nepal. The new species is similar to Pseudopoophagus sapensis Savitsky, 2022 from Vietnam, but differs in the black body, broader elytra, narrow scales not forming maculae and broader antennal club. This is the first record of the tribe Eugnomini for Nepal.
