FORMATION OF DIGITAL COMPETENCE OF A FUTURE PHYSICS TEACHER IN THE CONDITIONS OF DIGITALIZATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

"Digitalization" is a modern trend and a priority direction for the modernization of Ukrainian education. A modern teacher must work with students who are representatives of the digital generation. It is practically impossible to integrate these students into the traditional educational process, therefore its significant digital transformation is necessary. The training of a future teacher in higher education institutions should ensure his ability to navigate the information space, search and critically evaluate information and operate with it in professional activities, readiness to organize the educational process with the wide involvement of digital tools. The digital competence of a teacher is an indicator of his professionalism. The article reveals the features of using the Google Workspace for Education educational platform for schools, and also describes the role of modern applications for teaching physics at school.
