The film "Sofichka" is based on the story of the same name by Fazil Iskander. Relationships in the family and the divisions in it into "us - them" are a sign of today. Using for this purpose different stylistic devices, including "anaphoric screen", linguistic (the characters speak the national language), with subtitles - K. Kovalenko achieves the desired effect of viewer perception: the path of a simple Chegem girl evokes unquestionable respect, since it contains all the best that is characteristic of the culture of the Abkhaz people.
