Multiple orthogonal least squares detector for generalized spatial modulation
Generalized spatial modulation and its variant, generalized space shift keying, have constructed an important framework for large-scale MIMO systems, aiming to reduce hardware costs. In this paper, we explore a novel compressed sensing-based detector that demonstrates a lower error rate compared to existing methods. We employ the multiple orthogonal least squares-based detector for generalized spatial modulation and introduce the multiple binary least squares-based detector for generalized space shift keying. Subsequently, we derive a sufficient condition for exact detection using the multiple orthogonal least squares detector by leveraging the restricted isometry property of the channel matrix. To indicate the advantages of multiple orthogonal least squares and multiple binary least squares-based detectors, we conduct numerical simulations to compare their error detection rates with those of other existing detectors. The results indicate that the proposed detectors exhibit superior competitiveness and advantages over current detectors.
