Bio-Inspired Ornithological Flow Investigation for Enhanced Artificial Mellisuga Helenae

Inspired by the extraordinary efficiency of real bird flight, the goal of this project is to create a biomimetic artificial passer gongonensis with a semi-elliptical wing structure. The objective is to create unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that can perform a variety of effective tasks in fields such as animal observation, environmental monitoring, and disaster response by simulating fundamental flight dynamics including flapping, folding, and bending. The wing shape, including camber and twist, was carefully modelled using sophisticated CAD software like SolidWorks in order to increase lift and preserve exact control while in flight. The creation of wing systems that can flap and fold is a significant advance in this endeavor. The resultant mechanism showed that it could produce effective lift and push while remaining robust and flexible in a variety of circumstances. Simulations and prototype testing verified these characteristics, demonstrating how well the design replicates natural flight dynamics. In conclusion, by creating a biomimetic artificial bird with semi-elliptical wings, this effort represents a major advancement in UAV technology. By combining cutting-edge aerodynamic design, natural flight dynamics, and novel materials, the artificial bird provides a practical and flexible answer to a range of problems. These UAVs show great promise for uses requiring agility, accuracy, and sustainability, ranging from disaster relief to environmental protection.
