A nation without its own language lacks culture and civilization. Various languages in India are at risk of decline in the near future. This article emphasizes the significance of language in personal life and highlights the contributions of the esteemed linguistic scholar, the late Prof. Bh Krishnamurti, whose sole passion was language and linguistics.
