RESISTANCE OF FAMILIES AND LINES OBTAINED AS A RESULT OF INTERGENOMIC HYBRIDIZATION TO WILT

The article analyzes the results obtained on determining the degree of resistance to wilt on the background of wilt in hybrid families and lines of cotton obtained by the method of interspecific complex hybridization. cotton. The hybrids F8-12 (F1 K-28) x C-4727 and F8-12 (F1 K-28) x C-6524 were selected as the object of study, and the cotton varieties Omad, which participated in hybridization, belong to the speciesGossypiumhirsutum L. The synthetic amphidiploid hybrid F1{[(Gossypium thurberi Tod. × Gossypium raimondii Ulbr.) × Gossypium arboreum L.]} is conventionally designated as K-28. In addition, the source of the study is multigenomic interspecific cotton hybrids obtained by {[(G. thurberi Tod. x Gossypium raimondii Ulbr.) x Gossypium arboreum L.] x Gossypium arboreum L.] x Gossypium hirsutum L.} as well as F(8)-(12) hybrids obtained by synthesizing their backcrosses Gossypium hirsutum L.}, as well as F8-12 hybrids obtained by synthesis of their backcrosses. We obtained 11 hybrids with different genetic basis with a combination of high economic traits and characteristics with the participation of species belonging to different genomic groups of cotton. Analyzing wilt infestation, indicator and standard varieties showed resistance to wilt compared to families obtained on the basis of intergenomic hybridization. Based on the studies, it is determined that families O-117-125/18, O-87-91/18 and line T-1379 formed natural resistance characteristic of wild species and showed resistance to imported races of wilt from different regions due to genes providing resistance. With this in mind, the possibility of isolating cotton families and varieties with different degrees of wilt infection from complex interspecific hybrid combinations with different genomes through targeted breeding work was confirmed.
