The Impact of E-Learning Platforms on Student Engagement and Academic Achievement

Digital transformation has driven innovation in higher education management, integrating data and blockchain technology as a solution to enhance transparency, efficiency, and academic security. This study aims to explore the impact of blockchain implementation in academic management, including attendance recording, digital certification, and student data management. Using a mixed-method approach, quantitative data were collected through surveys of 500 students and educators, while in-depth interviews provided qualitative insights into the effectiveness of blockchain-based systems. The results indicate that blockchain enhances the reliability of academic data, reduces the risk of document forgery, and accelerates administrative processes. In conclusion, implementing blockchain in higher education can significantly improve academic governance, although challenges such as implementation costs and technology adoption remain obstacles to be addressed.
