Innovative Pathways for Practical Music Teaching: An Integrated Perspective of Grounded Theory and Analytic Hierarchy Process
With the promotion of personalized education concepts, practical music education has gradually shifted towards teaching strategies focusing more on meeting students' needs. This study aims to develop and validate a personalized teaching framework for practical music education.Using the grounded theory method, in-depth interviews were conducted with practical music students to identify the core factors influencing personalized teaching, including individual needs, flexibility of teaching methods, and teachers' teaching competence and professional development.Based on the grounded theory analysis, the study further applied the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to construct a personalized teaching evaluation system and conducted a quantitative analysis of the weights of each influencing factor. The results show that individual needs have the highest weight (0.648), with differences in learning styles contributing the most to optimizing personalized teaching strategies. The flexibility of teaching methods weights 0.230, while teachers' teaching competence and professional development have the lowest weight (0.122).Furthermore, personalized teaching significantly enhances students' music literacy, particularly in emotional expression and technical skills. The study also demonstrates that the grounded theory-based personalized teaching framework can effectively overcome the limitations of traditional music education, promoting students' comprehensive development in emotion, creativity, and technique. This research provides educators with a theoretical framework and practical guidance to design more personalized teaching strategies and offers specific quantitative references for implementing such strategies.
