PROSPECTS FOR THE INTRODUCTION OF DIGITAL TWINS IN THE MODELING OF AGRICULTURAL PROCESSES
The article is devoted to the analysis of the prospects for the introduction of digital twins in the modeling of agricultural processes. In the context of digitalization of the agro-industrial complex, the authors consider their role as a tool for improving management efficiency, forecasting yields and optimizing resource consumption. The paper notes that digital twins can reduce production costs, improve the diagnosis of agricultural machinery and contribute to the development of sustainable agricultural ecosystems. The research is based on an analysis of existing theoretical approaches, as well as consideration of practical aspects of technology implementation, including economic and technological barriers. The main problems of technology implementation are related to the high cost of development, lack of qualified personnel and limited digital infrastructure in rural areas. The authors consider ways to overcome these barriers, including government support, the development of educational programs and investment incentives. The role of digital twins in increasing the competitiveness of the agro-industrial complex and ensuring food security is noted. The work contributes to the field of digital transformation of agriculture and is useful for both researchers and practitioners involved in innovation in the agricultural sector.
