The development of coordination abilities of female students in the process of Tai-Bo aerobics training
The work is devoted to the problem of the effectiveness of sectional work for improving the physical fitness of students in the learning process. Currently, Tai-Bo aerobics is a popular type of health fitness among young people. In this work we investigated the influence of Tai-Bo aerobics classes on the improvement of coordination abilities of female students during the academic year. A high level of coordination abilities development is an important basis for successful mastering of new types of motor actions, successful adaptation to the conditions of sports and professional activity. Coordination abilities ensure harmonious development of motor skills in the structure of physical fitness. We used the tests recommended in the scientific literature and studied the following types of coordination abilities: ability to static balance; ability to coordinate hand movements; ability to coordinate body movements associated with speed and power manifestations; ability to general coordination of movements; ability to differentiate spatial and dynamic parameters of movements; orientation in space. We studied 2 groups of female students. The first group was engaged in physical education during the academic year without attending sectional trainings. The second group of students was engaged in Tai-Bo aerobics. Testing was conducted at the beginning of the academic year and at the end. It was found that under the influence of Tai-Bo aerobics classes there is a more effective development of coordination abilities in comparison with traditional classes in "Physical Education". The prospect of further research is to study the influence of Tai-Bo aerobics on other aspects of women's fitness.
