Dynamics of total IgE concentration in oral fluid of patients with acrilate intolerancte

Relevance. The choice of construction materials is limited and, according to modern materials scientists, the main materials in the world in the next 20-30 years will remain plastics based on acrylates. The problem of construction materials that have a pathological effect on the oral mucosa and cause the phenomenon of intolerance to construction materials does not lose its relevance. However, today, there is a lack of data on the diagnosis of intolerance to construction materials. This study is aimed at studying and assessing changes in immunoglobulin E in intolerance to construction materials. This study is devoted to assessing the effectiveness of laboratory diagnostics in case of intolerance to structural materials. The aim is to evaluate the diagnostic value of immunoglobulin E (IgE) in patients with intolerance to structural materials in case of tooth loss Material and methods. 48 patients were examined with intolerance to structural materials and 48 orthopedic patients without signs of intolerance to structural materials could be identified. A study of oral fluid was conducted, namely immunoglobulin E and an analysis of its level in patients with intolerance to structural materials, in comparison with the control group. Results and discussion. Before replacing the base material, in patients with intolerance to construction materials, the value of immunoglobulin E was 11.20±6.81 IU/ml. After replacing the base material, the indicator was 9.23±6.88 IU/ml. Conclusions. Despite the decrease in immunoglobulin E levels after replacing the base photopolymer material, which has less toxicity, in patients with intolerance to construction materials, in this sample of patients, we cannot talk about a statistically significant relationship between the base material and changes in IgE levels.
