GIGS AND NEW FORMS OF EMPLOYMENT: IMPACT ON SOCIAL INEQUALITY

The article examines the impact of the giga-economy on economic growth in the context of labor market transformation. Positive and negative consequences of the spread of new forms of accidents, such as work through digital platforms and short-term contracts, are analyzed. It is revealed that the gigaeconomy ensures accessibility of the labor market and flexible employment, but at the same time affects income instability and limits access to guaranteed guarantees. Gender and age differences in the conditions of existence in the giga-economy lead to the formation of a new structure of the form. The article offers recommendations for creating an effective social protection system for representatives of the giga-economy in order to minimize the negative consequences for vulnerable groups of the population.
