ADDITIVE TECHNOLOGIES (3D PRINTING) IN INDUSTRY: ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY

The development of additive technologies (3D printing) has an impact on industrial production, creating new opportunities to reduce costs, optimize processes and increase efficiency. The introduction of 3D printing can reduce the costs of materials, logistics and product delivery, as well as shorten production times. Unlike traditional methods, additive manufacturing offers the ability to create complex geometries with stunning waste, which increases the environmental sustainability of manufacturing. The article discusses the impact of the benefits of additive technologies, their impact on supply chains, and the specifics of their application in the aerospace, automotive, medical, and construction industries. Production costs are analyzed, traditional and digital production methods are compared, and standards and limitations of mass development of 3D printing in industry are identified.
