ANÁLISE DA RELAÇÃO ESPAÇO-TEMPORAL DA COINFECÇÃO TB-HIV NO MUNICÍPIO DO RIO GRANDE/RS
The immunological fragility caused by the HIV virus entails vulnerability to tuberculosis (TB) infection. Considering the worrisome scenario of TB in the municipality of Rio Grande (RS), this paper performs a spatio-temporal analysis of TB-HIV co-infection in each of its localities, from 2010 to 2021, using geoprocessing tools. For the development of this work, data from TB notifications from the SINAN system were used, in spreadsheet format. Thus, the epidemiological profile of these patients was defined through graphics. The Google Earth software was used in the process of georeferencing the cases, and the QGIS software was used for the elaboration of cartographic products. Through the My Maps platform, a dynamic map was made available with the localities of the municipality and the epidemiological situation for TB. Thus, it is expected that the municipal management can broaden its vision related to the performance of TB in the municipality, focusing on TB-HIV co-infection. This work also highlights the importance of applying geoprocessing in studies of the area.
