Formulation and Evaluation of Solid Perfume by Using Rose Extract

Solid perfumes, formulated using acombination of natural waxes, oils, and an essentialoils, are popularity as a sustainable alternative totraditional liquid perfumes. It explores theformulation and evaluation of solid perfume by usingrose extract, which focus on their physicalcharacteristics, fragrance intensity, and longevity. Thesolid perfumes were prepared by melting naturalwaxes and oils, incorporating with essential oils, andallowing the mixture to solidify. Rose oil was extractedfrom “Rose” by using Soxhlet method. Various testsincluding organoleptic, homogeneity, spreadability ,absorption, irritancy test, pH, acid value, saponification value, and antimicrobial tests, wereconducted to assess the quality and performance of thesolid perfume. The outcome indicate that the solidperfume has the firm texture, uniform appearance, and suitable melting point for different climates. Theformulation demonstrates an effective solid perfumewhich is eco-friendly and skin-safe.
