Comparison of 30-Day Readmission Between Early and Late Catheter Directed Thrombolysis for Acute Pulmonary Embolism in the United States
Delayed CDT for acute PE was associated with increased rates of 30-day readmission, readmission mortality, and readmission for heart failure. These findings emphasize the need for earlier CDT for the treatment of acute PE.
