Research on the Coherence of Analytical Courses in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics Major
This paper studies the issue of curricular cohesion in analytical courses within the Mathematics and Applied Mathematics program, taking University of Jinan as an example. It analyzes the current status and impact of core courses such as Mathematical Analysis, ODEs, and Functional Analysis. Difficulties and bottlenecks faced by students in course cohesion are identified, and suggestions for improvement are discussed. Furthermore, teaching cases demonstrating the cohesion among these three analytical courses are presented. The study concludes that optimizing course arrangements, strengthening the consolidation of foundational knowledge, and enhancing student learning interest are crucial for improving the effectiveness of course cohesion.
