Clinical study on modified Huagai powder in the treatment of pediatric bronchopneumonia with wind cold closed lung syndrome

Objective:Exploring the effectiveness of modified Huagai San in treating pediatric bronchopneumonia with wind cold closed lung syndrome. Method: 80 children with bronchopneumonia admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xingtai Medical College from January 2023 to December 2023 were randomly divided into two groups, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional Western medicine, while the observation group was treated with modified Huagai San on the basis of the control group. After one week of intervention, compare the clinical treatment efficacy, white blood cell count (WBC), and serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) between the two groups. Result: The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group after treatment, and P<0.05. After intervention, the levels of WBC and hs-CRP in both groups were significantly reduced (P<0.05), and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The use of modified Huagai powder in the treatment of pediatric bronchopneumonia patients with wind cold closed lung syndrome can significantly improve clinical efficacy and reduce the body's inflammatory response.
