Exploration of Online and Offline Hybrid Teaching of Java Programming Focusing on Cultivating Innovative Ability
Traditional "Java Programming" course teaching is often teacher-centered, resulting in students lacking of independent learning and innovative ability. In this study, we attempt to conduct teaching reform from four aspects: constructing course resources, refining teaching content, implementing teaching model, and adopting multiple assessment mechanism, all guided by a student-centered concept. We propose an online and offline hybrid teaching model, focusing on cultivating students’ innovative ability. The teaching process is strategically designed into three stages: pre-class preparation, in-class internalization, and post-class consolidation. Finally, the analysis of assessment data shows significant improvement in students' innovative ability, indicating highly satisfactory teaching outcomes.
