Research on the Path of Improving the Digital Competency of Counselors in Higher Vocational Colleges

With the rapid development of information technology, digitalization has penetrated into all areas of social life. As an important base for cultivating high-quality skilled talents, the digital competency of the counselor team is particularly important. Digital competency, that is, the ability to use digital technology and information resources to solve problems, is not only the key to improving work efficiency for counselors in vocational colleges, but also an inevitable requirement to adapt to the development of educational informatization. This paper clarifies the connotation of counselors' digital competency, deeply analyzes its development status and practical difficulties, and discusses the improvement path of counselors' digital competency in higher vocational colleges, in order to provide reference for the modernization and development of higher vocational education.
