Research on Subjective Evaluation Control Method of Automotive EPS Steering Feel based on User Focus
This study analyzes the deficiencies of subjective and objective evaluation methods for automobile steering feel at home and abroad, establishes a subjective evaluation control method based on user focus and weight, and truly describes the key indicators of user evaluation of steering feel. The subjective evaluation method is a complete set of steering feel evaluation items including 3-layer evaluation dimensions. Through the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP), the top 10 evaluation indicators were finally screened out, and the weighted coefficients were re-assigned in proportion. A user-oriented subjective evaluation control method based on the main evaluation points, a comprehensive scoring formula, and a scoring control standard were obtained. Four cars of different classes and types were selected for evaluation and scoring. The results show that the comprehensive scores and the individual indicator scores of the subjective evaluations of the three experts and 20 ordinary users are very close. The two groups also agree on the total score ranking of the four cars. For each car's low-scoring items, the expert evaluation and the ordinary user evaluation were basically consistent, and the overlap was high with the complaints about the car in the market. This method can directly describe the main focus and weights of ordinary users. At the same time, the subjective evaluation control method based on user focus can better control the steering feel tuning effect of EPS.
