Reproducibility Report for ACM SIGMOD 2024 Paper: 'Temporal JSON Keyword Search'

This is the reproducibility report for the paper ''Temporal JSON Keyword Search'' by Dyreson et al. The code the authors provided is available on GitHub https://github.com/cdyreson/temporalHierarchicalKeywordSearch. We tested the code's correctness, data availability, and the reproducibility of the results. In particular, we aim to replicate the two key findings of the evaluation: the cost of the temporal functionality and the additional overhead of sequenced search compared to the consequences version. Generally, the results are consistent with the original paper. Overall, the reproduced results align closely with those reported in the paper, demonstrating that the study is reproducible.
