Green Building Design Strategy of University Teaching Building in the Northeast Region

With the implementation of Heilongjiang Green Building Action Plan, colleges and universities in Northeast China pay more and more attention to green building design. This design not only makes the environment inside the teaching building more comfortable but also can save energy, reduce emissions, and promote the sustainable development of campus buildings. However, the design must pay special attention to the climate of the northeast, to not only balance the heat preservation, ventilation, and lighting, but also to solve the problem of insufficient resource utilization. To achieve green building designs, we must first use sufficient sunlight in winter and natural wind in summer to adjust the indoor temperature. We should also actively use sustainable energy sources, such as solar and wind power. At the same time, it is necessary to create a good teaching ecological environment, adopt a series of strategies, such as intelligent management system, make the teaching building more energy efficient, promote the development of campus green construction design, and make the campus more beautiful.
