The sharing economy (SE) is a model based on the joint use of resources through digital platforms. Its development helps to reduce transaction costs, optimize the use of assets and expand opportunities for self-employment. However, along with economic benefits, SE gives rise to social challenges, including the lack of labor guarantees, legal conflicts and the risks of digital inequality. The article analyzes the key advantages and problems of the sharing economy, as well as the prospects for its further growth in the context of technological and regulatory changes.
