A Study of Median Filtering-based Enhancement of Interconnect Communication for Power Terminals
In the power system, all kinds of electrical equipment in the operation process will produce complex electromagnetic interference. These disturbances have a wide frequency range and high intensity. This noise will be coupled into the communication line, affecting the transmission quality of communication signals between power terminals. Conventional power communication enhancement methods use BLER (Block Error Ratio) block error rate coding to measure the performance of the communication unit, but they cannot solve the problem of communication signal noise caused by electromagnetic interference, resulting in the communication quality is still less than ideal. Therefore, a median filtering-based interconnection communication enhancement method for power terminals is proposed. By applying median filtering to construct a gain model of power terminal interconnection communication, each data point in the signal is replaced by the median value of the data in its neighboring domain, so as to remove the abnormal noise and restore the original characteristics of the signal. Based on this, the power terminal Internet is discretized and the signal enhancement algorithm is designed according to the high-frequency coefficient state. The experimental results show that the research method has significant anti-interference property, and the comprehensive enhancement effect on the interconnection communication of power terminals is better and more reliable, which contributes to the improvement of the quality of power communication and the reduction of the limitation of power communication transmission.
