ANSIEDADE EM ESTUDANTES UNIVERSITÁRIOS DA ÁREA DA SAÚDE: DESAFIOS, IMPACTOS E ESTRATÉGIAS DE ENFRENTAMENTO

Young people's admission to university requires behavioral changes. These changes imply changes in social habits and emotions, which are sometimes difficult to manage. Changes in routine and behavior of young people need to be managed to give them quality of life, such as providing a healthy sleep routine and regular exercise, among others. However, it is known that several factors determine the mental health of a university student, which can be harmed by exposure to risk factors. One of the most recurrent factors that can harm their mental health is the pressure for greater autonomy and better academic results. The objective of this research is to conduct a literature review with the aim of investigating the factors that trigger anxiety among university students in the health area, as well as to analyze strategies and interventions that can contribute to improving quality of life and alleviating symptoms. Our justification is that cases have increased significantly and deserve attention, in order to highlight the need for interventions to protect the mental health of young university students.
