POSSIBILITIES AND LIMITATIONS OF USING THE THEORY OF ANTAGONISTIC GAMES FOR THE ANALYSIS OF ECONOMIC SECURITY
The article explores the potential and limitations of applying antagonistic game theory to analyze economic security in conflict-of-interest scenarios. The author examines the foundational principles of antagonistic games, including requirements for constructing payoff matrices, the guaranteed result principle, and conditions of participant antagonism. Key challenges in practical applications are identified, such as difficulties in defining participant strategies, the multicriteria nature of tasks, and the restriction to two participants. To address these limitations, approaches like coalition modeling and expert assessments are proposed. Case studies of investorenterprise interactions, tax authority-taxpayer relations, and industrial company-environmental agency conflicts illustrate scenarios of antagonistic conflicts and their formalization through gametheoretic models. The study concludes that classical antagonistic game theory requires adaptation to multicriteria and multiparty economic systems.
