TRANSFORMATION OF ENFORCEMENT OF ORDER IN SOCIO-ECONOMIC SYSTEMS

The types, institutions and consequences of coercion existing in modern capitalism are considered. The directions of development of the modern symbolic environment (the environment of human existence in which symbols and their meanings are present), intended for interpretation (interpretation and clarification of meanings), are highlighted. It is noted that the transformation of economic relations is accompanied by a change in the relationship between elements of systemic, subjective and symbolic violence. Institutions, which are a set of formal and informal rules designed to direct individual behavior in the required direction and reduce uncertainty in decision-making, are considered by the author as a tool capable of managing violence and maintaining stable social interactions on a large scale. The features of assessing the effectiveness of institutional coercion are also highlighted.
