TRANSFORMATION OF FISCAL POLICY IN THE CONTEXT OF DIGITALIZATION

Present article examines the main factors of the digitalization impact on fiscal policy in order to determine the changes fiscal policy is undergoing in the new digital realities. Among the main factors of digitalization, the expansion of available information and an increase in the speed of its transmission are considered. The study proves the connection between the penetration of digitalization and fiscal decentralization, fiscal transparency and the improvement of financial institutions. The hypothesis is proposed that along with the expansion of the information field, access to information, fiscal transparency and increased efficiency of both financial institutions and public administration institutions, fiscal policy will gradually turn from procyclical to countercyclical.
