Mediação Cultural e Traços Identitários na Produção Musical de Rincon Sapiência

This research had the general objective of highlighting the identity traits in Rincon Sapiência musical production and the possibilities of cultural mediation based on the repertoire produced by this artist. To this end, the research is configured as descriptive using the qualitative approach and the method documentary, since the investigation was based on informational records contained in documentary items such as lyrics and sound recordings. Based on the results, we can see aspects of cultural mediation in Rincon Sapiência work by presenting in his lyrics nuances that permeate the daily lives of black people and residents of peripheral places, composing verses loaded with symbolic values. We also found that when configuring cultural mediation devices, Rincon Sapiência's songs carry identity traces, therefore, the Artist acts as a mediator by favoring the appropriation of information and culture that can lead black people to achieve protagonist and emancipatory behaviors.
