Methods Extrovert⋅introvert tendency was measured by using MBTI (Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator) and then, the effects of eating habit after emotional changes by extrovert⋅introvert tendency using multiple response, t-test, chi-square test. Results High school students having negative emotions like sadness, depression, anger increased eating ‘confectionaries and chocolates’ as well as ‘skipping meals’ regardless of gender and extrovert⋅introvert tendency. The boys of introvert tendency (3.60 score) was more increased happiness than extrovert tendency (3.23 score) by eating carbohydrates and sweet foods (p<0.05), while the girls of extrovert tendency (3.41 score) was more increased happiness than introvert tendency (3.04 score) by eating favorite beverages, including coffees, carbonated drinks and so on (p<0.05). Conclusions Negative emotional changes of high school students were increased sweet foods and skipping meals. A score of happiness feeling was increased by eating sweet foods or drinking favorite beverages which was significantly different by gender and extrovert⋅introvert tendency. Therefore, we need to find appropriate diverse ways not to lead bad eating habits considering extrovert⋅introvert tendency of high school students by gender.
