Study of fiber waste generated in spinning technological processes

From the analysis of the results of the conducted research it became known that by using fibers suitable for spinning in the separated waste, it is possible to achieve efficient use of raw materials at the enterprise. Accordingly, it is recommended to use suitable fibers from carding machine waste as raw material for spinning yarn of high linear density. As a result of the experiments, it was established that cleaning and combing machines manufactured by leading companies in developed countries, with their efficient operation, dump a certain part of the raw material into waste. It is known that the factors influencing the degree of raw material grinding and cleaning depend on the speed of the cleaning working organs, the shape of the colossal screens, the types of cleaning working organs, the distance between the cleaning drum and the separating knives, the shape and location of the casings of the cleaning working organs. Summarizing the results of the experiment, it should be noted that when spinning threads with a linear density of 29 tex and higher, it is recommended to add 10-12 percent of comb nut and tarand to the mixture. By adding 10-12 percent of carding nuts and tarandi to the mixture, the use of raw materials gives a good effect, and the spinning threads meet the requirements of the standard. As a result of experiments, it was found that the waste contains sticks, nuts (nut), short fibers, seed shells, sticky fibers, stones, etc., as well as some fibers suitable for spinning.
