Hubungan Beban Kerja dan Stres Kerja Terhadap Peningkatan Kualitas Tidur Perawat

ABSTRACT In Indonesia, 73.3% of nurses in care units have poor sleep quality and 26.7% have good sleep quality, while in non-intensive pediatric wards 27.5% of nurses have poor sleep quality. Factors that can influence sleep quality include illness, environment, motivation, exercise and fatigue, psychological stress, and lifestyle. One of the most influential causes of work stress for nurses is workload. The large number of demands in carrying out responsibilities while working can develop work stress in nurses and have an impact on work situations and concentration in completing work. Knowing the relationship between workload and work stress on improving the quality of sleep for nurses. The analysis uses a cross sectional design. The sampling technique uses total sampling. The majority of nurses had good sleep quality (77.5%), light workload (47.0%) and no work stress (72.7%). There is a significant relationship between workload (p value 0.001) and work stress (p value 0.002) with nurses' sleep quality.
