The growth of Cs 3 Cu 2 Br 5 and CsCu 2 Br 3 single crystals by cooling crystallization for scintillator application

Cs 3 Cu 2 Br 5 crystals (>5 × 5 mm) were produced via cooling crystallization for the first time, exhibiting 6384 ph per MeV light yield, 17.5%@662 keV resolution, dual emission, and large Stokes shift, suitable as bulk scintillators for X-ray detection.
