E-waste Disposal Practices of the Consumers for Sustainable Resource Management

Electronic garbage, or "e-waste," is increasing significantly due to the rapid advancement of technology, posing major health and environmental hazards. Having sustainable methods for disposing of e-waste is crucial to minimize these risks and maximize the number of resources that may be recovered. E-waste refers to discarded electronic gadgets like smartphones, computers, and household appliances. Improper disposal of dangerous and valuable materials can cause environmental degradation and resource waste. Effective resource management techniques can help to promote sustainability and reduce the negative effects of e-waste. The present study was carried out in Vadodara District of Gujarat State with an objective to find out the e-waste disposal practices of the consumers for sustainable resource management. A Descriptive research design was used for conducting the present study by using Purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 120 respondents aged between 18-45 years of age. Questionnaire was used as a tool for collecting the data. For analysing the data, t test and ANOVA were computed.
