ANALYSIS OF THE AUTHENTICITY INDICATORS OF THE LEAVES OF NUPHAR LUTEA AND ASSESSMENT OF THE PROSPECTS FOR THE USE OF THIS TYPE OF RAW MATERIAL

Kuril tea, known in traditional medicine for centuries, attracts the attention of researchers due to its rich composition. An analysis of the scientific literature shows that the underground and aboveground organs of Kuril tea contain flavonoids, tannins, phenolic acids, triterpene saponins and other compounds that have therapeutic potential, demonstrating antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory properties. The purpose of this study was to study the qualitative and quantitative composition of tannins in shoots, flowers and leaves of Dasiphora fruticosa (L) harvested during different phases of the growing season. The object of the study was shoots, leaves and flowers of Kuril shrub tea, collected from cultivated plants of the Moscow and Tver regions, meeting the requirements of GOST 26869-86 «Seedlings of ornamental shrubs». The authors conducted a study of the qualitative and quantitative composition of tannins of raw Kuril tea. The presence of tannins in the shoots and leaves of Kuril tea was confirmed using qualitative reactions and the TLC method on Sorbfil plates in the n-butanol: acetic acid: water system (10:3:7). Tannin and gallic acid were identified using standard samples in all the studied objects, regardless of the vegetation phase. The analysis of tannins was carried out in accordance with the OFS methodology.1.5.3.0008.15 "Determination of the content of tannins in medicinal plant raw materials and medicinal herbal preparations" by permanganometric titration in the presence of indigo sulfonic acid. The authors noted that the culture conditions favorably affect the accumulation of tannins in various phases, from the beginning of vegetation to fruiting of Kuril tea, prove the uniformity of the increase in tannins and a gradual decrease in their value by the fruiting phase, which allows to extend the time of harvesting raw materials.
