Design of Talent Training System for Engineering Management Major in Finance and Economics Universities: A Case Study of CUFE
Due to the significant differences in the positioning, characteristics, and features of engineering management majors in financial and economic colleges compared to traditional engineering colleges, the applicability of current professional evaluation and certification systems needs further exploration. Taking the engineering management program at the Central University of Finance and Economics as an example, this study aims to assess and validate the alignment of the curriculum system, graduation requirements, and training objectives for engineering management major in financial and economic universities. To achieve this objective, this study uses Pearson correlation coefficient to assess the correlation between the attainment of graduation requirements and training objectives based on the achievement of course objectives and self-assessment by students. The results indicate that the current curriculum system is reasonably designed and able to support the achievement of graduation requirements and training objectives. This study provides valuable insights for the professional evaluation and certification of engineering management programs in other financial and economic universities.
